view images Read ReviewsPaying a tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War, 1999, Anamika Singh performed at Dras witnessed by the war sites Tololing, Tyger Hill and Mushkhoo Valley where hundreds had sacrificed their lives. Remarkably, as her feet touched the gravel, the entire town was drawn to the music, which had only recently heard the noise of bullets. The wind blew sorrows away as the inhabitants joined her prayers, in her own language – dance!
